Diamonds and dollars are the available forms of currency in Lady Popular. Diamonds cannot be won by playing the game, they can only be received as a result of making donations - by sending an SMS or through PayPal, ePay, etc, recruiting friends (when they purchase diamonds, you get 10% of them) or playing in Mystery boutique. Diamonds are not required to play the game; the only things that cannot be bought in any other way except with Diamonds are your pet and your apartment . Adopting a pet costs 200 diamonds. There is a game option which allows you to trade your Diamonds for dollars, which are necessary for your Lady's growth and success in the game. One Diamond is worth 90 dollars. You don't have to order Diamonds and trade them for dollars - dollars can be earned in the game. For example:

  • Minigames
    • Sudoku: If you solve a difficult Sudoku puzzle you will receive between 1.0 and 2.5 IQ + 40 dollars
    • Connect the dots: If you succeed, you will receive between 10 and 40 dollars + 0.5 IQ
    • Puzzle: If you put together a difficult puzzle you will receive between 1.0 and 3.0 IQ + 50 dollars
    • Hanoi Tower: If you solve a difficult Hanoi Tower puzzle you will receive 60 points + 1.0 IQ + 50 dollars
    • Mastermind: If you guess the combination within three moves you will earn 80 dollars, within 8 moves – 40 dollars, within 10 moves – 20 dollars.
    • Scratch and win: You will get 10 dollars for each diamond you find when you scratch off the ticket.
  • Your boyfriend brings you a certain amount of dollars every day. Different boyfriends bring different amounts of dollars.
  • Your Lady also earns dollars by working. Depending on her profession at the moment the pay can vary. You can view a complete list of all professions and how much they pay here.
  • Another way to earn dollars is to challenge another player to one of the games for a prize. Be very careful when you accept challenges or when you issue them. The winner takes the prize (minus 10% commission), but if you make a mistake and overestimate your abilities, you can lose significant amounts.

You constantly need dollars in the game - they are used for buying clothes, as well as for visiting the hair stylist, the beauty salon, the tattoo studio and the tanning salon. Without dollars you can't rent or purchase an apartment or get a job. You should save all the dollars you can, they are one of the most important parts of the game.

Diamonds are a way to develop your Lady faster when you don't have any dollars. They can be bought, but they can't be earned by your Lady. There are several ways to get diamonds – by sending an SMS, through PayPal or via credit cards. You will also receive 10 % of the Diamonds purchased by the users you have invited to LadyPopular. You can win diamonds by playing in Mystery boutique.The exchange rate for Diamonds is 5 Diamonds for 450 dollars, and the maximum amount you can exchange at once is 500 Diamonds for 45000 dollars.

With Diamonds you can also:

1. Become a Premium member. This gives you the following:

  • The ability to activate three actions to be carried out consecutively, for example your Lady can go to work for a specified period of time, then she can go dancing and after that she can go to bed. What those actions are and their duration depends on you.
  • In the My Items menu you can gather up to 20 products (5 if you don't have a Premium account)
  • The option to personalize your profile with a selected font.
  • Additional statistics (for duels, games already played, activities, etc.)
  • Saving old messages in your inbox.
  • A lighter interface, no ads, the option to create Hotlinks – a quick way to make frequently used menus available to you with one click of the mouse.

2. Acquire a talent. The duration of each talent is one week. There are 5 kinds of talents:

  • Charisma - gives you 100 rating per activation and your possible rating points become from -1 to +4 (instead of -2 to +3)
  • Perfect girlfriend - gives you 15% more points from your boyfriend each day
  • Animal lover - your pet gives you 50% more points each day
  • Interior designer - you receive 15% more points from your apartment
  • Makeup artist - you receive 15% more points for visiting Beauty salon and tattoo studio

3. Finish activities instantly - with diamonds you can finish all activities instantly except working.

4. Boost your attributes - you can boost your hunger, thirst, energy, hygiene, happiness and health by paying diamonds

5. Purchase Gallery slots - you have 20 free gallery slots but you can purchase additional number of slots
