Experience

How can I gain experience?

1. Buildings - they give you experience, which equals the sum of the spent resources for the current building level (the bonus from the skill Education is also added here). The experience is gained at the start of the building.
2. Upgrades (improvements) to the units - they give you experience, which equals to the sum of all spent resources for the current level of upgrade. The experience is gained when the upgrade process is completed.
3. Units – they give you experience, which equals to 1/3 (one third) of the sum of the spent resources for their training (the bonus from the skill Education is also added here).
4. Demolishing buildings, Capturing a castle, Gatherings, Healing during a battle (using Priest or Monks) – you gain no experience, even if there are some healed units during a battle or gathering.
5. Fled units, caused by lower moral level - the fled units do not give you experience, they don't leave resources for gathering, and (when there is a fled Nobleman) they don't raise/lower Loyalty to the castle.
6. Espionage – doesn't give you experience. Lost units during Espionage Marches don't give you experience and don't leave resources for gathering - even if the units are Quickwalkers or others, sent by mistake to espionage. So, if you would like to kill a part of your army without giving experience to anyone, the Espionage is the solution for you.

How to calculate the experience gained AFTER BATTLE ?

.

After battle the experience gained is based on the life of the killed units, but it's not always the full life, just a percentage of it based on the population losses of the players. When both players lost at least 35% of their population, they gain 100% of the life of the killed units as experience. If one of the players (no matter winner or loser in the battle) have lost less than 33.5% of his population, both players will receive just part of the experience. This percentage will be estimated in the following way - % population lost, multiplied by 3. For example - one of the players lost 33% of his population and the other all of it, so both players get 33X3=99% from the experience. If he had lost 20% of the population, both would've got 20X3=60% of the experience For the calculation always will be used the percentage of the population lost by the player that lost less population. For example - if one of the players lost 20% and the other 60%, the experience will be calculated with the first value.
Attention - the bonus from the skill Knowledge will be added to the final value.
