Mongols: Chengiz Khan Guard

Information

The most powerful ruler of the Mongols - Chengiz Khan, started the tradition of training special Khan Guards. These deadly warriors were chosen from the strongest children and then were raised to defend their Khans by all means possible. Extremely fast and merciless, they are the most dangerous warriors in the Mongol army.

Each Chengiz Khan guard adds 1% to the Scout Skill. The bonus is added before the march is sent. Depending on the amount of Khan Guards the time needed to reach the destination of the march is reduced significantly.These units not only give a bonus to the "Scout" skill, the special units also increase the maximum bonus that can be gained from this skill to 180%; After developing the special upgrade of this unit the limit is further increased to 190%;This limit may be reached either with units only or with a combination of units and bonus from the skill.

Example:

If you have developed the Scout skill to advanced and and this gives you a bonus, on the speed of all marches, of 80%. If you want to reach the maximum of 180% you will also need 100 special units in that march. They will give an additional bonus of 100% (100 * 1 = 100%). If you don't want to spend any skill points on the Scout skill, you can achieve the maximum skill bonus by having 180 special units. They will give you a bonus of 180% (180 * 1 = 180%); After developing the spacial upgrade of this unit the limit is further increased to 190%. The limit can be achieved according to one of the schemes above;

Note: In some cases the bonus from this skill is lost:

  • If you sent a Multiple-target march and after it has reached its destination you recall/cancel the march, the time needed for the march to return, to the home castle, will take an amount of time equal to the base travel time, without the bonus from the Special units;
  • If you send a camp, the march will reach the destination at a reduced time (with the bonus added), but on its return trip, the march will take an amount of time equal to the base travel time, without the bonus from the Special units;
