Players construct and develop buildings on their Planets. Buildings improve the Planet and have different functions. For more info on each building’s function see each building’s individual topic.
Buildings have levels; each higher level improves the building’s function in some way. Buildings also have a maximum level, above which the building can’t be developed any more.
Some buildings have requirements, on the presence and levels of other buildings, which have to be fulfilled before the building can be built.
All buildings require resources to be constructed or developed. They require economic resource (Metal, Minerals and Gas), but they also require Energy. Each building in the game (except for Energy producing buildings) requires a certain amount of Energy to be available. If a player cancels a building construction in progress they will receive 70% of the invested resources back.
Buildings can be destroyed if the Attacker has ships that possess the Detonation skill.
Players have the option to destroy levels of their own buildings if they choose to. Whenever this is done the player receives 50 to 80% of the resources, invested in that particular building level, back, and the Energy that the level uses is freed.
